Guadalupe Students for Life is a pro-life program designed for children in the 6th through 8th grade. This program can be used by teachers, parents, grandparents, prolife groups, or any person or organization that desires to teach children the value of human life from conception to natural death based on the bible and scientific reasoning.

Shared Humanity

This program is unique in its use of posters and videos that show human life in the womb at all stages of development, with each lesson and subsequent discussion focusing on the humanity of the unborn child and how our own humanity shares the same characteristics in common with the person in the womb:

Our ancestry, our biology, our capacity for thoughts, emotions and desires, and our universal experiences. Recognizing the inherent worth of each person from this perspective transforms how we interact, care and respect for others, even those who are vulnerable and easily overlooked.

Critical Thinking

Teenagers and young adults are the primary target of the abortion industry. Critical thinking is necessary to navigate this dangerous ideology. This program is designed to help children learn to objectively analyze, question and evaluate pro-abortion rhetoric, to identify biases and to think clearly and rationally with logic and evidence to reach well-supported pro-life conclusions.

Children will learn about the rights of the unborn in law, how to defend the unborn, how to help and defend pregnant women and their babies through community service, how to pray for them, and how to help change society to a culture of life.

Getting Started

Every child learns differently. Our teachers focus on personalized attention, ensuring each child progresses at their own pace with encouragement and support.

When you download the handbook: The handbook will give you clear and easy instructions for presenting the program. You may use some or all of the suggestions in the book, it’s up to you!
When you download the videos: You will not need to read the monthly lessons if you use the videos. The videos provide a visual of the lessons that help the children to better understand each lesson.

Are there any costs in using the program?

The videos and handbook downloads are free! You may purchase additional materials to enhance the program – recommended are the Spiritual Adoption Posters and Spiritual Adoption Prayer Cards. Additional items, such as games, prizes, treats, are all optional. Do whatever your budget allows.

Is the program just for teachers?

Anyone can use the program: teachers, parents, schools, youth groups, churches, home schoolers, grandparents. The book is complete for use from schools to individuals, for many children or just one child. Just adapt the program to fit your needs.

Can I adapt the program to fit my schedule?

Absolutely! You can do the program once a month, or once a week or twice a week, daily or all in one day. Be sure to leave time for the Think Fast Game, and for a discussion about the lesson – we want the children to express their thoughts and have good conversations about each lesson.

Yes! This has been shown to older kids and adults, and there was great feedback. Just adjust the program to the group you are presenting it to, we all need to know this!

Child Focused, Sensitive Approach

The Guadalupe Students for Life Program never describes an abortion to the children. It is not necessary to know any graphic details of abortion in order to be prolife and to promote the culture of life.

We do not teach sex education, discuss male/female anatomy or discuss how babies are born. Any questions of this nature are always redirected to focus on the sanctity of the life in the womb.
